General Information
What makes Lazar Music School different from other online schools?
We go beyond traditional music lessons. Our unique method connects music education with Ayurveda and neuroscience. We don’t just teach you how to play an instrument; we help you achieve mental balance, improve concentration, and foster emotional well-being through the creative process.
Is the school entirely online?
Yes! After 16 years in Brussels, Lazar Music School moved fully online in 2025. We now serve a global community, allowing you to learn from world-class teachers from the comfort of your home.
What subjects and instruments do you offer?
We offer private coaching in Piano, Vocal, Guitar, Composition, and Music Theory, along with specialized sessions like Sophrology for musicians, Music Therapy, and Ayurvedic well-being workshops.
The Membership Model
How does the membership work?
The school operates on a 12-week membership cycle. Depending on your choice (Premium, Balanced, or Self-Learning), you gain access to a locked learning space that includes your live lessons, pre-recorded materials, and our community app.
What is included in the “Premium” Membership?
This is our most popular tier. It includes 1-on-1 live coaching, access to a professional no-latency music platform, a free online score library, and membership in our private community web app.
What is the “Community Web App”?
It is our private “virtual café” on Discord, where students from over 30 countries connect. You can share your progress, ask questions, join student groups, and participate in international live masterclasses and virtual concerts.
Wellness & Special Programs
Can you help children with concentration issues?
Yes. Using insights from neuroscience, we guide parents how to use music to help children develop focus and cognitive harmony in a playful, supportive environment.
Do you offer programs for pregnant women?
Absolutely. Our special sessions for expectant mothers focus on building a deep emotional connection with the child through sound, breath, and music, supporting a peaceful pregnancy.
How do you help busy adults?
We understand the stress of a modern schedule. Our lessons for adults are designed to be “moments of relaxation,” using Ayurvedic principles to help you decompress and find harmony through your musical practice.
Scheduling & Technical
How do I book my lessons?
Once your membership is active, you will receive access to your teacher’s Booknetic link. You can choose the days and times that work best for your and teacher’s schedule.
Can I book a trial lesson before deciding to subscribe for a membership?
Yes, you can book a trial to check if that’s for you. We will also offer a free setting technical call before your trial so that you can concentrate entirely on the lesson.
What technology do I need?
You need a stable internet connection, a device (laptop or tablet), and your instrument, second camera or phone can be useful for showing your finger position. We provide a free set-up call to help you configure our professional, no-latency music platform for the best audio experience.
Cancellations & Policies
What is the cancellation/rescheduling policy?
We value the time of our teachers and students. You can reschedule a lesson via Booknetic till 48 hours before start of your lesson in advance.
Can I get a refund for unused lessons?
Per our terms, there are no refunds for unused lessons or partial membership periods. In exceptional cases (such as a family emergency), we may consider individual situations if a certificate is provided.
What happens if I go on holiday?
If you inform the school at least 48 hours in advance, your membership can be frozen for up to one month per membership period, allowing you to resume your progress when you return.
What if there is a technical failure?
If a power cut or internet outage affects a lesson, we will do our best to help you reschedule at no extra charge.
Getting Started
How do I join?
You can choose your membership tier directly on our website. After payment via our secure portal (Stripe/PayPal), you will receive the access to the learning space and the reservation calendar to start your musical journey.
