About Pola Lazar - the founder of the school

I am Pola Lazar – concert pianists, member of the jury of the international competitions, masterclass teacher. I have found the school in Brussels in 2006 and Piano Studio in Rotterdam in 2021. I am polish born and I play piano from when I was 4. My amazing polish (G.Fiedoruk – Sienkiewicz – in Gdansk), italian (B.Ambrosini – in Hamburg) and american/jewish (D.Blumenthal – in Brussels) teachers were an interesting fusion of east and west approach to the life. Each of them was totally different and in that way very complementing each other.

I came up with an idea that it is enriching for music environment to balance by opposites – to give the soul, awareness and tradition to the west and structure and technology to the east so that these two worlds complement each other. Meetings of different cultures bring happiness and satisfaction by making music together.

Next to brilliant skills, kindness, team work and support are key points while choosing artists – teachers we work with. We make sure that at the center of everything is the pleasure and fun of learning and perfecting musical talents. We have created the International Amateur Piano Competition Wroclavile, so our students can share their experiences. We wish to express our gratitude to that group of people, who has passion to music next to their daily jobs. Adult students are a big part of our international community.
